Shipping:
We ship with UPS services daily and can usually ship all parts out the same day they are ordered. All shipping charges are in addition to the listed price of the parts unless specified otherwise by an authorized representative of Gulf South Equipment Sales LLC.
We ship parts and assembled components out daily with several LTL carriers. Our shipping department will be glad to find the lowest rates available to your area, however if you have an account with a specific carrier we will be glad to accommodate any freight carrier who will pick up at our location.
All Parts shipped using expedited services such as Next Day Air are only
subject to refund on ground shipping prices regardless of reason for return.
Gulf South Equipment Sales does not under any circumstance refund expedited
shipping charges.
Payment Policies:
We accept several different payment forms including Visa, MasterCard and Discover card, however all credit card purchases where the parts total is $500.00 or more will be subject to a 3% processing fee. We also accept company checks as well as cashiers checks and money orders as payment on parts purchases. If an order is placed over the phone payment can be mailed in the form of a check, but parts will not be shipped until the check is received. In the case of company checks the parts will not be shipped for 10 business days after check has been received. We will also provide information for bank wires for any customers interested in this form of payment. All orders placed from outside the United States must be paid by bank wire; no other forms of payment will be accepted for international sales. All orders paid by bank wire will be shipped as soon as our bank sends official notification that the wire transfer is complete. We do not ship parts C.O.D.
Warranty and Returns:
We sell a very wide variety of parts and the warranties do vary from one
part to another depending on the original supplier and the category of the
part or component. However on everything sold by Gulf South Equipment Sales
there is a 30 day guarantee. After 30 days some new and rebuilt parts will
still be covered by a warranty and can be returned under the guidelines of
that particular warranty. After 30 days used parts will not be refunded. Used
parts and components are guaranteed for 30 days from the day the part is
delivered or picked up. It is the responsibility of the customer to establish
the fit, condition and usability within that 30 day period. If a used part is
defective or worn beyond usable tolerances it will be the responsibility of
Gulf South Equipment Sales to replace the part or parts at no additional cost
to the customer, or if replacement parts are not available the customer will
receive a refund for the full amount when parts are returned. Gulf South
Equipment Sales will schedule and pay the return shipping on defective parts
or parts shipped in error when the error is that of Gulf South Equipment
Sales. All USED parts that must be returned for reasons that are outside the
control of Gulf South Equipment Sales such as a parts ordered in error by a
customer or parts ordered for a machine that is later deemed beyond repair can
be returned in the 30 day guarantee period. These parts may be subject to a
restocking fee also all shipping charges will be the responsibility of the
customer. All parts that are returned because customer deemed parts defective
or unusable will be refunded only after parts are returned to Gulf South
Equipment and have been inspected by an authorized representative of Gulf
South Equipment Sales and reason for failure has been determined. New,
remanufactured and rebuilt components and parts will be subject to the
warranty provided by original supplier of that specific part or component.
This information will be available on individual parts and can be obtained
from any parts sales person at Gulf South Equipment Sales. With all
remanufactured and rebuilt units it will be the responsibility of the customer
to establish the fit and usability of any and all components before
installation, Gulf South Equipment Sales does not warranty labor involved in
installation, repair or removal of defective parts. As with all parts
purchased from Gulf South Equipment Sales new, remanufactured and rebuilt
parts can be returned within 30 days for any reason however if the reason for
return is outside the control of Gulf South Equipment Sales shipping cost will
be the responsibility of the customer and in most cases a restocking fee will
be applied. In the event of a defective part or component purchased from Gulf
South Equipment Sales that is still covered by the guidelines of the original
supplier’s warranty on that particular part or component the parts will be
replaced in as timely a manner as possible. Parts or components that must be
inspected or evaluated for warranty purposes will not be replaced until such
inspection or evaluation takes place and reason for failure has been
established.
Core Charges:
Core charges are charges that are in addition to the price of rebuilt, remanufactured and sometimes new parts. These charges will be due upon the purchase of the part and will vary with each individual part. All core returns need to be returned within 30 days of receiving the component in order to receive the full amount of the original core charge. The stipulations that dictate these charges will vary greatly depending on the part or component being purchased. This information can be obtained for any specific part from any parts sales person at Gulf South Equipment Sales.
